Farm Mitrovac
The 71st World Ploughing Championship competition takes place at Farm Mitrovac in Grabovac, situated in the fertile plains of Osijek-Baranja County. This agricultural estate offers ideal conditions for world-class ploughing competition, with rich loam soil developed on alluvial and loess deposits.
The competition fields provide ample space for both Conventional and Reversible ploughing classes, with dedicated areas for spectators, judges, and support facilities. The soil composition — Sand 40%, Silt 40%, Clay 20% — ensures good structure and moderate water-holding capacity, well suited for ploughing under normal moisture conditions.
