The 71st World Ploughing Championship unfolds across the fertile plains of Osijek-Baranja County — one of Croatia’s most productive agricultural regions. The competition fields at Farm Mitrovac sit on deep loam soil developed over alluvial and loess deposits, offering ideal conditions for both Grassland and Stubble ploughing.

All venues are connected by daily shuttle services running throughout the official programme (31 Aug – 6 Sep 2026). The 22 km drive between the university campus in Osijek and the competition site takes approximately 25 minutes.
