Information for Judges
All judges and officials are essential to ensuring a fair and well-run championship. This page provides key information regarding your role, schedule, and responsibilities during the 71st World Ploughing Championship.
Head Stewards
Head Stewards arrive on Friday, 28th August, alongside the WPO Executive Committee, for advance coordination and site review.
Judges
All judges are expected to attend the Judges Meeting on Wednesday, 2nd September, and the Stewards and Judges meetings on Thursday, 3rd September.
WPO Officials
WPO Board Members and officials attend Board Meetings scheduled throughout the week and oversee all competition proceedings.
Meetings & Briefings Schedule
The following meetings and briefings are scheduled for judges and officials during the championship week.
Briefings & Practical Information
Competitor briefings take place in the evenings before each competition day. Judges and officials are encouraged to attend these briefings to stay informed about plot assignments, rules reminders, and any special conditions.
- Sunday, 30th August — 20:00: Briefing & Draw for Practice Plots
- Thursday, 3rd September — 20:00: Briefing & Draw for Grassland Plots
- Friday, 4th September — 19:00: Briefing & Draw for Stubble Plots
- Accommodation is provided at the University Campus (Student Home Lavoslav Ružička)
- Full board is included (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Shuttle service runs between Campus, Marshalling Yard, and Competition Site
- Shuttle to Marshalling Yard departs at 06:45 daily
- Free WiFi available at Campus
